RHA Annual Exhibition 2022
For this exhibition I included a group of six abstract paintings which could be described as colour songs. The titles are very loosely based on Gustav Mahler’s song cycle Das Lied von der Erde, written for two voices and orchestra in 1908-9. The paintings are stripe and grid based in oils and egg/oil tempera.
